SALVATION

The Tanach and Messianic Writings communicate a spiritual, eternal plan of salvation that can be summarized as follows:

1. YHVH Himself is the source of a satisfying, worthwhile life.
“You show me the path of life; In Your presence is joy to satisfaction; At Your right hand are pleasures forever.”Psalms 16:11

2. The Hebrew scriptures teach that all of us have sinned. Man has separated himself from YHVH.
“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el, and say to them, ‘Be set-apart, for I YHVH your Elohim am set-apart.” Leviticus 19:2
“But your crookedness have separated you from your Elohim. And your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing.” Isaiah 59:2

3. Man cannot remove the sin barrier by his own effort.
“ And all of us have become as one unclean, and all our righteousness are as soiled rags. And all of us fade like a leaf, and our crookedness, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6

4. The Hebrew scriptures teach atonement only through sacrifice. The sin barrier can be removed by believing YHVH’s word (faith), and by having the blood of the atonement.
“And he believed in YHVH and He reckoned it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:6
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your lives, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the life” Leviticus 17:11

5. The Hebrew scriptures teach that the Messiah is our sacrifice. YHVH has provided the blood of atonement for us today.
“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookedness. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray, each one of us has turned to his own way. And YHVH has laid on Him the crookedness of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6

6. YHVH made sure we could recognize the Messiah by specific identifying marks as stated in prophecy. Here are but a few of over 300:

Messiah’s Birth:

Yeshua of Nazareth fulfilled these and many other prophecies.?

7. The Hebrew scriptures teach that we must accept Messiah. We must though repentance (a turning away of our sins) and by faith, receive Messiah Yeshua into our lives in order to receive YHVH’s salvation, have a personal relationship with Him, and a satisfying life. You can do that right now through prayer.

  • “Oh everyone who thirsts, come to the waters. And you who have no silver, come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without silver and without price. Isaiah 55:1
  • “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil! Learn to do good! Seek right-ruling, reprove the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together,” says YHVH “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land;” Isaiah 1:16-19
  • “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim.” Romans 8:15-16
